Villa Lindos Kalliopi and Villa Poppy overlook the panorama of Vlicha Bay and the unrivalled location means easy distances to all the essentials....

A 3 minute walk from the villa is the superb large local supermarket, "Flavaris" that offers an excellent deli counter, speciality butchers counter, a wide selection of wines and spirits and all groceries.

Adjacent to the supermarket is a lovely coffee shop and bakery. Bus stop, taxi hire and car hire local are also a couple of minutes walking distance....

Rhodes is the number one Greek Island for unique and untouched beaches - on the cusp of a crystal clear sea. Only a short 5 minute walk (500 meters) down from the villa is the waters edge of Vlicha (Vliha) Bay.

And what a location!

Vlicha Bay is in the middle of the east coast of Rhodes-between the resort of Kalathos and the famous and historic village of Lindos.

Vlicha beach is a stunning crescent shaped, long pebble beach with astonishing clear water set on the bay south of Lindos.

At Vlicha bay the nightlife is available but is much more sedate and is made up a few charming bars and tavernas. This offers a peaceful contrast to Lindos-which is only 3 km away and offers the more lively evening out.

Vlicha bay and beach are also renowned for water sports and much is on offer for enthusiasts who want to enjoy the beautiful Mediterranean Sea up close!

Three highly regarded, hotels in the bay have a fairly open policy to welcome outside guests and you can ask to use some facilities and enjoy any entertainment they put on.

A short walk from the villa a regular bus service to Lindos stops and offers a short journey over to this historic and vibrant village...

One of the best things about Villa Lindos Kalliopi is the mentioned close proximity to Lindos. In Lindos itself there are many diverse restaurants, bars, shops and banks. And, of course, the magnificent Acropolis. Like much of the Old Town of Rhodes, Lindos has a preservation status declared on it and this means it has managed to maintain its old traditions and styles.

With excellent roads, easy to navigate & in good condition you can do as much or as little driving as you want.

To get to Rhodes Town it will only take around 45 minutes from the Villa.

The nearby Pefkos is a real treat, with good quality restaurants and bars. Pefkos is a 5 minute drive away and has magnificent beaches, shops and tavernas. It also takes on an atmosphere all it`s own during the evening.

5km further from Pefkos is Lardos, this offers a more traditional glimpse of Greek life and has many lovely bars and restaurants on offer both in and out of the main season. Our single biggest recommendation in Lardos for dining is "Roulas" a restaurant taverna that is run by a lovely, welcoming family with an extensive menu offering gorgeous chef specialties, Greek specials and own recipe pizza. The best quality menu on Rhodes and a warm reception is guaranteed (to reserve, when on Rhodes,telephone 22440 44300).

40 minutes away is Prassonissi, the most southerly position of the island and is a favorite with Windsurfers.

The entire island is a pleasure to drive around on and all areas simple to navigate to in a relative short time.
