A beautiful environment to be in

Just a note to let you know we are now safely home and have had an absolutely fabulous time at Villa Kalliopi. The family wedding went very smoothly and we had a lovely, lovely day. What made the holiday for my husband, children and their spouses was of course the Villa. It was such a beautiful environment to be in, the pool, the planting, the furnishings, crockery etc… and art work – all amazing and wonderful and we feel very privileged to have had the opportunity to stay there- an extremely memorable experience for all us of, thank you.

In fact we hardly left the Villa, spending virtually all our time there relaxing in the pool/ shade, except for the odd trip to Lindos and Pefkos, plus of course the actual wedding including a wonderful boat trip around the bay. It was very hot every day and we had everything we needed at the villa, including the invaluable little shopping trolley which meant there was not always the need to get the car out!

And of course, special thanks for providing the food mixer and baking equipment. Making the wedding cake was quite a challenge, as you predicted the ingredients were slightly different and I had to be quite creative. It tasted delicious (although I say it myself!). Any leftovers were polished off the following day at a family bbq at a relatives’ villa in Lardos.

Thank you also for recommending M&S car hire. Paul picked us up promptly and all went very smoothly.
