…everywhere you look…treasure to thrill and delight!
Our 2017 season started early at VLK this year…
and it was a delight to welcome first time Rhodes visitors, Emma, Murray, Nancy, Wilf & Guy:
“Dear Pete and Phil
Thank you so much for such a wonderful stay at Villa Lindos Kalliopi. It was our piece of paradise for a week and all thanks to your extremely kind hospitality, the opportunity to stay in the beautiful home you have created in Villa Kalliopi, with such skilful style and design, the very thoughtful attention to detail bestowed on everything you have put into the villa and our luck with the stunning pre season weather! We are back in dull, dreary, rainy England and missing the beautiful surroundings of your lovely part of Rhodes enormously.
Our family of five (two adults and three kids 13, 12 and 8) have the following highlights, we could have gone on all night….
A personal welcome from Peter and Phil because the power had gone down in the area and they were kindly checking all was ok…. it was! A stunning house, spotlessly clean and even more impressive than the photos.
The beautiful surroundings – everywhere you look there is a treasure to thrill and delight!
Fantastic BBQ area, outside sink, stocked fridge, an enormous bowl of local fresh oranges and fresh herbs to hand!
Lovely big beds, crisp sheets, fluffy towels.
The pool! And swimming in the sea at Vlicha and Lindos.
Beautiful decking area, clever garden zoning, great lights at night.
Bespoke magazines (inc especially purchased football and cookery mags…. thank you so much!)
Books, games, films a plenty – perfect for our digi detox week.
Amazon Echo!! Hours of fun and many tracks enjoyed from past and present!
The Nutirbullet for fresh breakfast smoothies after yoga on the deck plus electric orange juicer for all those delicious local oranges.
Wonderful views in a very quiet area.
Sunbathing; great sunbeds.
Beautifully stylish and elegant outside sitting and dining.
Thoughtfully chosen hamper and enormous jar of cookies!
Lunch on the beach front at Haraki, very welcoming and kind hosts at Restaurant Spitak https://www.facebook.com/pages/Spitaki-Restaurant-Haraki; always quick with a free pudding after a delicious meal 🙂
The Baklava (and meal) at Maria’s Taverna in Lindos http://mariastavernalindos.com and at cafe Zucchero https://www.facebook.com/Zucchero next to the local supermarket.
St Paul’s bay.
An evening walk up to the Acropolis.
Thank you for a great stay.
Very best wishes from us all,
Emma, Murray, Nancy, Wilf and Guy”
