Vlicha Bay curves gracefully along the edge of the Aegean Sea, an area distinguished by historical significance, mythology, and scenic beauty.
The gentle rhythm of sailing and fishing boats animate our panoramic views of this bay, with the often-snow-capped Taurus Mountains of Turkey visible twelve miles on the horizon. The bay offers water sports, swimming, sunbathing, relaxed beachside bars and restaurants.
The well-regarded Sklavenitis ΣΚΛΑΒΕΝΙΤΗΣ supermarket, an artisan bakery, and a traditional grill house are conveniently just five minutes’ walk away.
Nearby, the town of Lindos is located beyond the Zate and Marmari mountains, which we overlook. Dating from 280 B.C Lindos is known for its cliff-top Acropolis and winding white-washed streets lined with bars and rooftop dining.
Car rental, while not required, allows easier exploration of Rhodes’ mountain villages and ancient sites, revealing stunning coastal and inland landscapes.
Rhodes’ rich history has led to a mix of cultures and architectural styles. Today, the island is showcasing Greek ingenuity and high standards like never before.

UK based, originally from Wirral and North Wales respectively – our homelife is now firmly in the beautiful English county of Cheshire.
We live in a portion of a beautiful Victorian Hall and grounds, with our two cats, Harriet and Hastings.
Our home reflects our passion for architecture, interiors and gardens, keeping us continually engaged.
We first discovered Rhodes 25 years ago and were immediately impressed by its natural beauty and peaceful lifestyle.
Owning property on the island we regard as a privilege, allowing us to nurture our own slice of paradise.
